is the founding pastor of Make12 Church. He holds a Bachelors in Religious Studies and Master's of Divinity from Regent University. He and his wife Chelsea have a daughter named Sophia and a son named Graham, and live in St. Joseph, Missouri. In addition to teaching on Sunday mornings at Make12 you can find Beau in coffee shops around the city, sipping a cappuccino and reading a good book. If he is not there, he is probably hanging out with his family.
has been the worship leader at Make12 since Fall 2009. He holds a Bachelors of Music Technology degree from Missouri Western State University. Brett plays piano for the worship team, but his main instrument is actually the trumpet. Brett also works full time at Training Technologies & Support in Fort Leavenworth Ks, and currently resides with his wife Jourdan in St Joseph. Ever since he heard a trumpet player from the local high school play for his third grade class, he knew that music would always play a major role in his life. Brett loves the sense of community he experiences at Make12 Church. On a typical weekday, you can either find Brett riding his bike around town, or hanging out with his wife and kids.
began helping out with running sound, and A/V early 2012 and then joined the Make12 team in Fall 2012 to begin working on service design, guest relations, and playing Bass in the band. He has over 10 years of ministry experience and has a degree in youth ministry from Teens for Christ in Minnesota. He currently lives with his wife Claire in Rushville, Missouri near God’s Mountain Camp where he is a also a camp director and IT manager. You can usually find him hanging out where there is great coffee, good food, fast wifi, music, or strategy games.
joined the Make12 team in the fall of 2011. She is originally from Texas but has loved living in Missouri for the past five years. She has been serving in full time ministry for close to 8 years now, & currently at Make12 we are privileged to have her coordinate the Children's Ministry. She currently lives in Rushville, Missouri with her husband Drew, where they both program directors for God's Mountain Camp. She loves good music, fun people and eating guacamole!
Rob and Olivia Nichols
joined Make12 in August 2016 after getting married and moving from Iowa and Nebraska, respectively. It became clear early on that Make12 was their new "home" and they wanted to become involved on a deeper level. In February of 2017, they started the youth ministry, dubbed "The Couch Surfers." Both Rob and Olivia were heavily involved in the Navigators Campus Ministry on their campuses, receiving training in leading young adults and evangelism. Rob is a full time mechanical engineer working for Altec while Olivia works as a barista at Paradox Coffee. If not at work, you will most definitely find them thrifting, drinking delicious coffee, partaking in any/all outdoor activities, or watching hilarious shows on Netflix.
became the Volunteer Coordinator for Make12 in December of 2016. Hannah was born and raised in a small town in Mississippi, but moved to St. Joe to join her husband in July of 2014. She received her Bachelor's Degree in English from Mississippi State University. Currently, her and her husband Colin reside in Downtown St. Joe, and love being within walking distance of the sweet shops downtown has to offer. Hannah enjoys binge watching HGTV, and is a hardcore advocate for second breakfast.
began working at Make12 Church in Fall 2016. Traci, working alongside Kelly Walker, oversees all aspects of Make12 Financial Management, and is also the Office Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Northern Iowa, and lives outside of Saint Joseph with her husband and sons. When Traci isn’t working at Make12, you can find her spending as much time as possible with her family.
has been with Make12 Church for 9 years. She is the head bookkeeper for church finances, as well as the mother of Teaching Pastor Beau Walker. Kelly has 43 years of experience as the Executive Assistant to the CFO of Mosaic Life Care. She has 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Her hobbies include sewing, crafting, and working with various service organizations.
