Beau Walker

is the founding pastor of Make12 Church. He holds a Bachelors in Religious Studies and Master's of Divinity from Regent University. He and his wife Chelsea have a daughter named Sophia and a son named Graham, and live in St. Joseph, Missouri. In addition to teaching on Sunday mornings at Make12 you can find Beau in coffee shops around the city, sipping a cappuccino and reading a good book. If he is not there, he is probably hanging out with his family.

Brett Ryan

has been the worship leader at Make12 since Fall 2009. He holds a Bachelors of Music Technology degree from Missouri Western State University. Brett plays piano for the worship team, but his main instrument is actually the trumpet. Brett also works full time at Training Technologies & Support in Fort Leavenworth Ks, and currently resides with his wife Jourdan in St Joseph. Ever since he heard a trumpet player from the local high school play for his third grade class, he knew that music would always play a major role in his life. Brett loves the sense of community he experiences at Make12 Church. On a typical weekday, you can either find Brett riding his bike around town, or hanging out with his wife and kids.

Rob and Olivia Nichols

joined Make12 in August 2016 after getting married and moving from Iowa and Nebraska, respectively. It became clear early on that Make12 was their new "home" and they wanted to become involved on a deeper level. In February of 2017, they started the youth ministry, dubbed "The Couch Surfers." Both Rob and Olivia were heavily involved in the Navigators Campus Ministry on their campuses, receiving training in leading young adults and evangelism. Rob is a full time mechanical engineer working for Altec while Olivia works as a barista at Paradox Coffee. If not at work, you will most definitely find them thrifting, drinking delicious coffee, partaking in any/all outdoor activities, or watching hilarious shows on Netflix.
